For the fourth time, Huffman Engineering, Inc. has earned Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) Certified Member status in the CSIA “Best Practices and Benchmarks” certification program. Huffman Engineering has been a CSIA Certified Member since passing its first certification audit in 2005.

To become a Certified Member, the company successfully completed a third-party audit that assessed its performance against 76 client-centric criteria in eight business areas – General Management, HR Management, Financial Management, Marketing, Business Development, and Sales Management, Project Management, System Development Lifecycle, Supporting Activities, and Quality Assurance Management. The re-certification audit is conducted every three years.

“CSIA Certification is the gold-seal mark of a professionally managed control system integration business,” says Robert Lowe, CSIA executive director. “Certification reassures clients that Huffman Engineering is an established professional services firm that wants to develop a successful, long-term partnership with clients.”

Howard Huffman, president of Huffman Engineering, adds, “CSIA is the premier benchmarking organization in the control system integration industry. Recognition as CSIA Certified is a testament to our commitment to CSIA’s value proposition of ensuring that industries everywhere have access to low-risk, safe, and successful applications of automation technology.”

The CSIA is a not-for-profit, global trade association that seeks to advance the industry of control system integration. CSIA helps members improve their business skills, provides a forum to share industry expertise, and promotes the benefits of hiring a certified control system integrator. CSIA members provide a range of services in dozens of industries. For more information, visit www.controlsys.org.
