Huffman Engineering, Inc., a leader in control systems integration with offices in Nebraska and Colorado, today announced the company has achieved the Level 2 Certified Integrator status in the Ignition Integrator program by Inductive Automation.Huffman Engineering Attains Ignition Certification

“Ignition software is a very powerful tool that we offer to our clients to decrease the amount of time and money it takes to monitor industrial processes and manufacturing environments,” said Howard Huffman, CEO of Huffman Engineering. “Our Level 2 Certified Integrator credential shows the competency of our engineers to provide the best value to our clients.”

Ignition by Inductive Automation is a powerful web-based industrial software platform with tools for the control of and reporting on cross-platform manufacturing and process automation equipment, including linking manufacturing execution systems (MES), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

Huffman Engineering staff achieved the Level 2 Certified Integrator status through a two-step program: first by completing Inductive University to receive the Ignition credential, then by successfully passing the Ignition Core Certification test. The Core Certification test is updated each time a new version of Ignition is released and ensures that Certified Integrators are proficient in the most current technology. Huffman engineers are qualified in the recently released Ignition version 7.9.

Huffman Engineering has a long history of delivering large-scale system integration projects for highly regulated industries which require clients meet stringent regulatory requirements. Whether meeting requirements for the FDA, USDA, or EPA, Huffman Engineering builds robust reliable automation systems.
