Huffman Engineering donates +1650 pounds of food

As a part of our annual SOUPer Bowl celebration, Huffman Engineering collected over 1,650 pounds of food between our three offices to be donated to Food Banks in the communities we live and work in. In Nebraska, the non-perishable items were donated to the FoodBank of the Heartland. Each year we have a celebration where we put our engineering prowess to the test by creating a challenge for teams to collect and build an engineering feat of some sort as a competition internally for bragging rights, the ultimate goal is then turning those donations over to those in need.

Shout-out to the winning team this year – the newly opened Omaha office where just two team members, Director of External Operations, Todd Mollner and Business Development in Omaha, Mike Obst managed to build a tower reaching 8 feet 3 inches in height and requiring a ladder to place the winning can. Congratulations on the win team and more importantly, congratulations to those who may not go hungry tonight because of the outpouring of support from Huffman Engineering.
