If something is not working, don’t suffer! Call us. Many of our customers don’t realize that we do more than projects. We are able to do troubleshooting, maintenance, and offer ongoing support. Recently, a customer called regarding network issues. Their company had been purchased, providing new IT support. That support upgraded the computers and suddenly nothing worked right. Having trusted Huffman Engineering for years to support aging systems, they called us. Our engineer, working with their new remote IT department evaluated next steps and is now creating a plan to get them to optimum performance.

We have a customer who needs assistance in implementing automation projects. What works best for them is to have one of our engineers at their location one or two days a week working on a list of items they want accomplished. The customer trusts our engineer, and that relationship has helped us identify ways we can help them meet their upcoming needs for automation and controls. It is low risk for the customer because they can modify the agreement at any time, and they can budget for the support. We can provide expertise on PLC’s, HMI’s, and VFD’s from a number of leading manufacturers. Our talented group of engineers and technicians are experienced and well trained. We pride ourselves on being responsive and can quickly troubleshoot your problem and offer a solution.

Training & Experience

We are a Rockwell Automation Recognized System Integrator for Process and Safety. We are also a Schneider Electric Certified Alliance Integration Partner. We have experience with Siemens PLC’s, Eaton VFD’s, Wonderware & Citect SCADA, Ignition, Kepware, and ThinManager Our experience with older versions of PLC and HMI systems includes an extensive library of older software to help troubleshoot and service aging systems.

Service Calls

Whether we put in your system or not, we will respond quickly to your service needs. Our goal is to minimize your down time and get your system back to peak efficiency. We strive to meet your critical service needs the same day that you call. If your requirements are beyond our capability we will do our best to recommend an alternate source for help.

Service Agreements

If a customer has a long-term service need, we will work with them to provide a longer term or recurring service agreement that meets their needs and budget. We also can offer flexible automation services that can be tailored to the customer’s specific needs. For example, we can offer periodic scheduled services or in some instances have an engineer become a temporary embedded member of a customer’s automation group.
