Nebraska-based Huffman Engineering, Inc. announces Mechanical Engineer Jay Steinman has earned a Master of Engineering Management degree from the University of Nebraska.
Lincoln, NE – March 2, 2017 – Huffman Engineering, Inc., a leader in control systems integration, today announced that Mechanical Engineer Jay Steinman has earned his Master of Engineering Management degree from the University of Nebraska.

Steinman completed his undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Steinman has been with Huffman Engineering for over five years, and his experience with mechanical design, PLC and HMI programming, and qualification and validation have led to his success as a lead project engineer at the company. Steinman also holds certification as a Wonderware Certified Developer and System Integrator.
“I am able to apply topics from my master’s degree in subjects such as project management, risk analysis, quality management and financial justification to improve projects and internal processes at Huffman Engineering,” said Jay Steinman. “In addition to learning specific examples and applications from my classwork, my degree has also given me a broader understanding of business and management that I can apply to my work universally.”
