GLOBAL Animal Health – SmartSights (WIN-911) Upgrades
A global Animal health pharmaceutical plant upgraded their alarm system across their animal health life sciences plant, at the same time expanding in the city of Elkhorn, NE. WIN-911 alarm systems had been used across their plant for a number of years starting with those requiring an OPC server connection where every alarm needs to be manually configured. But with a long history of ensuring they had the latest upgrades, this plant moved from the Standard package to the Interactive, to Advanced, specifically, 2021 4.2 and ultimately to version 2021 v6.
With this latest version WIN-911 now acts as a filter to talk directly to System Platform and configure those alarms. Not not only are they upgrading systems to alarm on existing process equipment like bioreactors, fermenters, water building systems and bio kill systems, but as it expands production, alarming systems are also applied to the entire building management. This new building expansion will now rise to human health life sciences standards.
