Nebraska-based Huffman Engineering adds Schneider Electric Certified Alliance Integration Partner to a long list of vendor certifications, providing manufacturing and utility customers with expertise in control system integration and engineering services.

Huffman Engineering becomes Schneider Electric Certified Alliance partnerLincoln, NE and Denver, CO – January 10, 2018 – Huffman Engineering, Inc., a leader in control systems integration, today announced the company has completed the requirements to become a Certified Alliance Integration Partner with Schneider Electric.  Huffman Engineering provides control system integration and engineering services to customers in the manufacturing and utility industries.

As the seventh US company to meet the technical requirements for the Certified Alliance partner status, Huffman Engineering joins an elite group of system integration companies who work closely with Schneider Electric to provide customers with a high level of knowledge and skill in control system integration.  As part of the certification process, in November 2017 nine Huffman Engineering employees passed a Schneider Electric exam on PlantStruxure software, an integrated automation platform connecting the controls, operations and enterprise functions of a manufacturing business.

The exam was proctored and attended by Steve March, Schneider Electric SI Alliance Program Manager from Phoenix, Tucker Bowers, Schneider Electric OEM Business Development Specialist from Kansas City, and Jason Ratkovec, Barr-Thorp.  “System integrators who are approved as Certified Alliance partners by Schneider Electric are those who have both demonstrated their technical competency, and proven their ability to satisfy customers by promoting and successfully implementing our automation solutions.  Huffman Engineering is an outstanding example of these characteristics and we at Schneider Electric are excited to welcome them to this advanced level of partnership,” said Steve March, national director of SI Alliance and Automation distribution partners for Schneider Electric.

March added, “For end user customers of Schneider Electric products, certification of a system integrator demonstrates that the SI is a Schneider Electric solution expert, that their engineers are trained and certified on the technologies, and that they have proven experience delivering solutions.  For our SI Alliance partners, certification gives access to new technologies, recognition within Schneider Electric, market differentiation and additional benefits in the Alliance program.  Huffman Engineering is also one of a few system integration firms across the country that Schneider Electric has selected to work with in delivering solutions with our EcoStruxure Hybrid DCS solution.”

“Our motivated team made this certification happen for the Huffman Engineering,” said Howard Huffman, CEO of Huffman Engineering.  “We will add the Certified Alliance Integration Partner knowledge and skills to the tools we use to provide our customers with the highest level of service.”

Huffman Engineering has a 30-year history of delivering large-scale system integration projects for highly regulated industries which require clients meet stringent regulatory requirements. Whether it is meeting requirements for FDA, EPA, or projects involving hazardous locations, Huffman Engineering builds robust reliable automation systems.
